What's inside

Each tablet provides 210mg of elemental magnesium (56% NRV) from three sources: ATA Mg® (magnesium acetyl taurinate), magnesium malate and magnesium bisglycinate. ATA Mg® is a patented form developed by Synapharm SA. Magnesium malate pairs magnesium with malic acid. Bisglycinate binds magnesium to glycine.

Why this combination

Different forms of magnesium have different absorption profiles and tissue affinities. Combining three forms in one tablet provides a broader profile than any single form. ATA Mg® is patented and has a research base. Bisglycinate tends to be the most gentle on digestion. Malate carries the malic acid component. The three together at 210mg per tablet meet 56% of the daily NRV.

How to take

Adults and children aged 11 and over: take 1 or 2 tablets daily on an empty stomach (approximately two hours before breakfast or last thing at night). Magnesium absorbs better away from other supplements and medications. If you take bisphosphonate medications for osteoporosis, separate by at least one hour. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or take regular medication, consult your GP or pharmacist before use.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Magnimore Plus compare to Magnimore Pro?
Magnimore Plus uses three magnesium forms (ATA Mg®, magnesium malate and magnesium bisglycinate) at 210mg of elemental magnesium per tablet. Magnimore Pro uses two patented forms (Magtein® and ATA Mg®) plus vitamins C and D3 and B6, taken as three daily capsules. Plus is the longer-running product in the range.
What is ATA Mg®?
ATA Mg® is a trademarked form of magnesium acetyl taurinate, developed by Synapharm SA under EP Patent No. 3738596. It binds elemental magnesium to acetyl taurinate, which can improve how the magnesium is delivered to the body. Magnimore Plus uses ATA Mg® as one of three magnesium sources in the formula.
Why take magnesium on an empty stomach?
Magnesium absorption can be reduced by certain foods (high-fibre foods, foods rich in calcium, tea and coffee) and by some medications. Taking magnesium on an empty stomach helps the body absorb more of the dose. Two hours before breakfast or last thing at night both work well.
How long does Magnimore Plus take to work?
This varies by person. Magnesium is a supplement rather than a quick-acting product, and most people take it continuously rather than as a course. Consistency at the recommended daily dose is more important than timing for any individual day.
Can I take Magnimore Plus with other Magnimore products?
Generally no. Taking multiple magnesium supplements at once risks exceeding the daily upper level set by EFSA (250mg of supplemental magnesium for adults). Pick the Magnimore product that suits your routine and use it on its own. If you have specific reasons to combine, consult a healthcare professional first.
Is Magnimore Plus suitable for vegetarians?
The tablet uses bulking agents, magnesium salts and standard tablet excipients. The formula contains no animal-derived ingredients on its face, though we recommend confirming with the manufacturer for strict vegan diets. Magnimore Plus is produced at a GMP-certified facility.
